Wow, it's been a while!
You could say, that i was down with spring-weariness. Especially the last weekend. This winter and the snow just seemed neverending and the ongoing grey brought my energy down. On sunday i was supposed to do many-many things, but ended but hibernating like a cave bear. I was even stressed out about it. The more surprising has this week turned out to be. Things just fall in place on their own and spring is finally here! I had even forgotten, that appart from snow, there is the possibility of rain falling down from the sky.
Antoher discovery was, that it takes three playmates with a wet railway under their nose to get that sniffles stick to us. But we're diligently informing everyone about it and canceling playdates. I still haven't figured out what the best method is: ignoring or quarantine oneself? Kids have sniffles all the time, especially in this climate and in this time of year. But since im not happy about it, that our little one got it, i guess neither would anyone else be, so home it is. Although some say, that after the third day it's not contagious(?).
However, we still go outside, because the sun has been wonderfull these couple of days.
I made these three bears (actually four, but one was already given away) last spring for my friends as a gift for their babys to be born. I should have made three more, but ran out of time. It's funny how they all got to look totally different, when yet the pattern description was for all the same :)) Last year i did alot of handycraft: these bears, a sweater for Martin, two for Juss, even tried some sewing (im really bad at it): a blanketcover, but this year... just can't find the time nor the energy for it. And, well, i haven't seen Martin wearing that one either, and i can't blame him, i probably wouldn't wear it too :P
